Humanity lost track of the precious knowledge that, as spirit, the human being is free and already equipped with inherent connections between inner and outer reality. All that is required is proper training. We are designed to rule our own world. Far from being ignorant sheep, we are gods. Today, when humanity has evolved sufficiently to self-destruct, there arises the feeling that somewhere within us lies a hidden key, but we are halted by the persistent shadow of a programme.
Both genders are programmed. The invisible programme, safeguarded under the excuse of being for the greater good, is designed to suffocate all spontaneous impulse, from instinct to intellect, physical sensation to awareness of inner forces, in order to assure control and continuity. Rather than supporting and developing our natural perception, it most often destroys the supposedly dangerous, original and authentic spark. Free, creative thought and feeling-sensitivity actually endanger the Programme.
The Programme harnesses both physical and spiritual force using the lowest common denominator: implied or applied physical force. In holding matter under control through artificial pumping of the survival instinct, the formless aspirations of the soul do not stand a chance.
The containment of instinct and intuition in the service of materialism is achieved by encapsulating thinking into a series of basic beliefs. Formulated over aeons and extending into all expressions of human life, these could be defined as:
º Alone, I am ignorant, vulnerable, and powerless.
º To survive I need to be led and protected.
º Only the reigning power (priests, a set of beliefs, authority…) can lead, protect, care for me.
º To survive and excel, I must be approved, accredited or belong to this power or authority nexus.
The Programme is simple; it supports an either/or, black/white premise. Even spirituality is approached through materialistic ends and for concrete purposes.
Because…
º Life is what you see and touch.
º Wisdom is limited to repetition of the classical past.
In this conception of reality, there is nothing new under the sun. Natural cycles are transposed to the realm of consciousness, where in fact they do not apply. Thus we are born and grow into a materialistic conception of life and of ourselves. We believe we are what we appear to be, as confirmed by others, and read others in the same light as we do events and ourselves. Certification comes from above, including God Himself. Within this demented reasoning, the goal is always to “win”.
BELIEFS
There are two basic streams of materialistic belief. One is addressed to the conception of life and the world. The other centres around the concept of self and the other, relationship. In both areas the highest value is placed on physical reality and by consequence on:
practicality, efficiency, expediency, continuity, convenience, comfort
Absurdly, the same values are imposed upon human nature. Feelings, sensibilities, and relationships become “things”, and the fullness of existential experience is weighed down by imposed meanings. The sense of “quality”, so characteristic of inner life and reality loses depth, and resonance. Instead of Self, self-worth is subjected to material ratings.
As I have been explaining through a number of entries (see “Men: Parts One and Two), the male energetic structure is built to deal with matter and thought. Beliefs would naturally tend to be practical and follow the Programme to the letter, excelling in concrete forms such as in our physical world. Women have a harder time. The Programme has the effect of sinking her sensibility underground where it festers and becomes deformed.
What does a woman believe? If men define themselves by what they “do” in a physical, material world, how can women define their strength and abilities? A woman has no choice but to apply the same premises as a man, although her structure and reality is another. Vetoed by the Programme for being irrational, impractical, inconvenient, uncomfortable, unstable, and unpredictable, she learns the art of pretending until she herself is convinced of the validity of the standard beliefs.
The very thin line between reality and Reality is the difference between sensation and sensitivity.
What is the REAL world? What is REAL life? What is the REAL you? There is a life, a world, an I-ness that has nothing to do with a material construction but yet supports it, runs through it. This is the Feminine Principle. There is no language or form for sensitivity. There are no references.
The Programme claims that little girls are pink and little boys are blue. The Programme says that women are yin and men are yang. And the Programme states that we need one another. We are disallowed to discover that in wholeness another greater sensibility arises that is not need.
We have all read a book or seen a film where someone or another, a group or an entire civilization is brainwashed, but seldom do we stop to see how we are. We don’t question the values that we pass onto our children, or even if they are indeed values, not opinions that limit perception and possibilities. I believe it is women’s job to do this. Now.
How do we alter the Programme? First by identifying it, by becoming aware that it is there, by discovering inner perception and sensibility. Where there is a Programme there cannot be Reality. But, where there is Reality we can reformulate programmes that comply with the needs of matter, while stemming from the flow of sentience and sensibility. Then intellect responds to intelligence and intelligence serves consciousness. It doesn’t need to stand on “either/or”.
The role of Inner Woman demands the use of her powers of sensibility as well as assertiveness, but most of all it requires the depth of her feeling-sensitivity to embrace men and the children, and hold the world in the spirit of Truth.
